Telehealth OT is Tom Underhay‘s vision for a dedicated occupational therapy service designed with the end user's experience as its central focus.
We provide professional and personalised online occupational therapy services accessible from anywhere in Australia for participants aged 17 years and older currently enrolled on the NDIS.
Telehealth OT integrates streamlined processes, efficient therapist time utilisation, and user-friendly features within the telehealth model to deliver services that are highly effective and offer great value for money.

Tom Underhay is an AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist with eight years of extensive experience in various settings. These include public hospital-based acute care, inpatient and outpatient neurological rehabilitation, community services, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) setting, hand therapy, and aged care. While completing his Occupational Therapy degree, Tom gained valuable experience working as a Support Worker in a Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service.
Since late 2022, Tom has exclusively provided telehealth occupational therapy services to NDIS participants, leveraging the online platform to benefit participants who may previously have had limited access to services.
Tom finds satisfaction in working with adults from various cultural backgrounds, addressing a broad range of disabilities and challenges.
He is an enthusiastic and dedicated clinician who prioritises a participant-centred approach. Through comprehensive assessments, coaching, education, and evidence-based interventions, Tom supports his participants and their families to achieve their NDIS goals and realise their potential.
Outside of work, you'll usually find Tom out in the ocean surfing or exploring different cities across the world on a bicycle.
